I'm don't really get into contemporary art (film and game reviews aside) but I do know that a lot of the current art world is driven by money and that what is defined by "good" art these days is what sells. That being said, there's a wicked streak of dark humor in watching a group of self-indulgent gallery owners, critics and art dealers getting offed by the very art they represent. It helps the film boasts a talented cast as well. Dan Gilroy is a nice fit for the film - and bringing Jake Gyllenhaal along for another ride works out once again.
