The movie tries oh so hard to be edgy - drugs! violence! sex! - that the biggest laughs come from how hard it fails to do so. Melissa McCarthy is... herself and I feel a bit bad for Elizabeth Banks otherwise if you want an adult version of kids fare - go re-watch Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
