While Gaspar Noé may be an acquired taste - once you get that taste you'll either want to come back for more or the complete opposite. As a fan, it took me way too long to experience this, but what a trip it was. Having dancers instead of actors (aside from Sofia Boutella - who was still excellent) gives this a wild energy that is as infectious as it is insane - especially as the film goes off the rails in the second act. Plus it has a kick-ass soundtrack. It will make you uncomfortable - but what a party.
