The film has a lot going for it - an animated style in the vein of the recent Spider-Verse film, actual teenagers voicing the teenage mutant ninja turtles and some outside the box characters (Wingnut, Mondo Gecko and Leatherhead to name a few) to go along with stalwart Rocksteady and Bebop. Throw in some talented actors behind those mutants (Paul Rudd, Rose Byrne, John Cena, Post Malone and main villain Ice Cube) and it's a recipe for success for adults and kids alike. Also, the soundtrack is on point.
