Best quote from this documentary was the person who said something to the effect of "When I had Moviepass I would go to a movie or more a week and after it was gone I haven't been to a movie since." Moviepass could have truly been revolutionary for filmgoers but instead a pair of grifters and conmen used it to enrich themselves and run the company into the ground. Moviepass is still around but it hasn't captured that initial magic and truly I think theaters could use a bit of that magic again but it may be too late (for both). Time will tell but it doesn't make the anger over the situation any less.
