A different kind of horror movie that may not have that "classic" feel but has enough tension that you just may fall off the edge of your seat before it's over. Taking place in the long-distant past, we follow a small band that has broken off from their main clan in order to forge their own path - and follow a once-heard story to a tranquil paradise. But things don't work out and the band - including a pregnant woman, an eccentric elder and a true stray amongst other - find an unforgiving land and, soon after, a monster in the dark. Things build and there are some gruesome deaths and a truly gut-punch ending - and one of the more unique horror films to come around in awhile.
