A too-slow burn of a haunted house/post-partum psychosis horror film that has a very abrupt end that leaves a lot of things open to interpretation. However, what I remember most from the film is it seems at least 60% crying baby and that baby has some lungs. The always welcome Michael Shannon is wasted in his too-small role while Emma Roberts and John Gallagher Jr. do their best. Sadly, it's not nearly enough and the film meanders along after a promising start that goes nowhere.
