Emotional Rescue

Even though people like to complain about sequels being lazy compared to original fare, Disney/Pixar has had a lot more success recently by continuing their stronger films. Inside Out 2 is not exception as we catch up with now teen Riley (Kensington Tallman) and some new additions to the emotional roller coaster in Anxiety (Maya Hawke), Envy (Ayo Edebiri), Ennui (Adèle Exarchopoulos) and Embarrassment (mostly silent but Paul Walter Hauser in the end). Disney could have shelled out a bit extra to get ALL the original cast back but it is what it is and the original emotions still hold their own. My favorite scene was the Vault where we not only get different animation styles, but some hilarious dialogue and visuals. I realize I should be too damn old for this but it still managed to hook me. When the animation powerhouse is on point, they can truly still move you.
