An unhappy story about two unattractive people -- somehow made into a mainstream Hollywood feature film! You've gotta love it. Also, does Meryl Streep have to sing in *every* film collaboration she does with Jack Nicholson? Overall, not a bad film -- worth a look if it appeals to you.
