Going into Eagle Eye was like hearing a tune you've already heard countless times before. Although you got to give them credit for giving it the hype everyone seemed too excited about since the previews came out. Well to me that's probably the biggest mistake they made, to put the whole plot in a 60 sec trailer. We all know how spoilers make us feel about a movie. So I guess that did it for me, I already knew what was going to happen the first half hour in because of the trailer. Then the middle part kind of mellowed down some more since it did not take off in the first place. It felt a little annoying once the phone kept ringing off the hooks. And this is probably a good example why we hate our parents or even our bosses ordering us around. I could say the acting was better than I expected it to be. Shia's got some skills and he's not afraid to use it. Michelle on the other hand was as typical as a doll ( That's a bad thing). The action scenes were good but I'm not jumping up and down on my seat. Lastly I really wished the movie ended 5 minutes before, I would have given it half a star more.
