I'm just gonna go dead on and say it's actually not as bad as everyone thought it would be. For me it's just good old mindless fun. What is also good is by watching this I could just turn off my brain and just let my male testosterone takeover. Well I wouldn't be mad with what Sommers did, I actually would commend him for handling such a prized memory from my childhood. Well there's also a downside having him helm this one, my one and only complain would be the inconsistency of the CGI effects. Because when it soars you'll just be wowed by it but when it nose dives it's pretty bad. I'm really not sure he is the right guy to handle a film with amazing CGI written all over it. Yes he's been that road 10 or so years ago with The Mummy but I guess technology left him out in the CG department. But like I said I'm not mad at him, not at all. The cast were I'm not going to say right on the money cause it has its ups and downs too. Snake eyes was probably the most accurate depiction of them all and Ray Park was born to play this role. Sienna Miller is such a devil and she could play bad in any movie and look good doing it. Channing and Marlon were mediocre at best. And I’m somewhat disappointed they were not as good as I’ve expected them to be. The story is as good as it gets and anything beyond it would be ridiculous. Good thing it was fast paced and has quite a few heart pumping action sequences along the way. Overall it was a good watch and Hasbro the company that originated it wouldn’t be having any regrets turning this to live action.
