After a slew of bad reviews that i decided not to read because i didn't want my judgment of the film be clouded i finally saw transformers 3 and from my point of view only one word came to mind "exhausting". Yes it was a notch better than revenge of fallen but i really thought that there isn't enough story development. What happened was it sticks to what bay is good at, action scenes and what's exhausting is he prolonged it like it was never going to end. There's nothing new with transforming robots, frankly it feels so old seeing them again. What draws me is what else could blow my mind and after sitting through it for two hours, well fact of the matter is nothing did. Even the new girl brings nothing new and she looks out of place most of the time. I think she can act but this is just not the right thing for her, even standing next to Shia feels wrong. What's good about Dark of the moon is at least this time there's some worthy fight scenes but that's about it. Star studded cast seems to add a little but not enough. There are just too much of things that one would think less is sometimes better. Makes me wonder why this has become such a trend in Hollywood, don't they ever learn..
