Not your average type of heist movie yet it appeals very much to a first time viewer. There are things I like about Bank Job and there are also things I don't like. I like the fact that it happen during the 70's and the whole disco theme is pleasing to the eyes and ears. I like also Jason Statham being his usual self, which is always the same character on all his movies. The story is also one to look forward to but then as the last few minute's starts to roll it kind of dwindles down to predictability. The pacing is also commendable and you just can't take your eyes off every scene because there are too much going on. Now about the things I did not like, first is the as I've said predictability.
(SPOILER ALERT) The whole beat down the bad guys in the end is very much seen in all Statham movies. The film runs about fifty six minutes which is very short and in my opinion they should have made it longer and thought about extending the story even more. Another thing I did not like is the supporting characters that died weren't given any importance in end. The writers must have thought to end it very quickly so that the audience would not notice small details. Overall Bank Job is no doubt interesting in many ways but the whole thing just falls flat because of the movie's shortness and predictability.
