PROS:
Speed is one great action film. It was one of the first films I saw and still remains one of my favourite. The suspense and action of this film is speechless. The action sequences were performed so well; you couldn't see the special effects. Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock and Dennis Hopper all deliver breathtaking performances; primarily Hopper's as the psychotic bomber. The plot is very interesting and fairly simple. A bomb on bus.
CONS:
The dialogue got very cliched; especially with Sandra Bullock but then again; it was her first mainstream film. Not much problems with Speed; it is genuinely great.
VERDICT:
Speed is a action thrill-ride which will leave you wanting for more. It is a shame the sequel wasn't the same but surely; this film is a film guaranteed to leave your mind.
