Bad Frankenstein Rip-Off

Subject Two takes the idea of Frankenstein and puts more drama into the idea. Unfortunately, Frankenstein and large amounts of drama really don't mix.
The beginning of the movie was very, very predictable. Everything seemed to go exactly as every Frankenstein movie before it. It's one of those "the doctor's house is in the middle of nowhere" things. However, as the story progressed, I felt that the idea got more and more interesting. Everything appeared to work towards the movie instead of against it.
Unfortunately for the movie, the acting and the characters were really too bland for the idea. The doctor and the patient that were introduced during the film were unoriginal, almost too boring for the film. The acting was alright, save for a few moments of strange screaming that really didn't fit into the film. Overall, the characters really do need work for this unique twist of Frankenstein.
Subject Two was one of the few adaptations I really just didn't care for. I wished that the movie could have been at least a little bit better.
