It's Bad, but it Scared Me

White Noise is bad, but part of me is afraid of this movie. I've never been a fan of using E.V.P. to communicate to the other side, mainly because I'm not really that deep of a believer, but when I saw this movie for the first time, I was scared stiff. Of course, I was in middle school at the time. Now I'm in college and this movie still scares me.
The story is bland and actually kind of stupid. The main guy lost her wife in a car accident and he ends up using the white noise on TVs, radios, and things like that to communicate with her. I liked the idea at first, like a romance kind of thing from the living world to the dead one. As the movie progressed, things started to get scarier and I was soon jumping at every freaking noise in the movie. Maybe I'm just a sissy when it comes to that kind of thing.
The acting was alright. There was a few points in the movie where I felt some of the acting wasn't extreme enough, and there were other points when I felt there was an over-powering kind of feel to the acting. If they had evened out the acting a bit more, White Noise could have been a lot better than it was.
I think White Noise is alright. I won't watch it again because I'm afraid of the dumb thing, but I'm not going to recommend it to anyone else either.
