Not a bad family movie

While not one of Will Ferrells best, I did enjoy some of the effects that were used to make this movie. The chemistry between Ferrell and Kidman is there, but the problem is the fact that the script was forced. Ferrell did have some funny parts but Ferrell is not really a "one liner" type of comedian, so when he had to stick to the script then it was obvious that he didn't play it as comfortably as he would have if he was given free reign of his character.
Kidman's resemblance to Elizabeth Montgomery was great, they do look a lot a like to begin with, and then with the character touch ups she had the look perfected.
The movie was ok, its good for families, but if you are looking for Ferrell in his out of control physical / nonsensical comedy then check out one of his other films, but if you want a Romance / Family type movie then this would be ok.
