Normally I am not a big fan of this type of Japanese Animation. It always reminded me in the style of a number of poorly made American rip off's of good Japanese cartoons, but i have to say that Howl's Movie Castle surprised me. I found it to be a very interesting story and that it had a lot of great scenes. The idea was very creative and it really brought about a beautiful story that was well told. I guess the first thing that caught my attention was Billy Crystal doing one of the voices and because I really enjoy his type of humor, it helped pull me into the story a lot faster than I would have normally been.
The animation is very well done, being that I am always looking for new things in the field of animation I have to say that there were a number of things that had me completely impressed. Over all a good movie that I think most kids and adults could get into.
