A good underrated action film

Sean Astin had already had a good start on his career by this point. Louis Gossett Jr. had a big career behind him in both film and television, and Wil Wheaton hadn't yet been known as Wesley Crusher yet. The movie was very well written, it had plenty of action, and a good deal of suspense. Toy Soldiers is fun. It has the whole insubordination from teenagers to unwanted members of authority, i.e. hostage takers. It's fun to see kids take over when they're being held to something they don't want to do.
Over all while the movie was rather underrated, it was pretty decent.
