This movie gets knocked a lot as far as being a sappy family movie. I guess I might just be one of the few that will go out and see just about any movie that Bruce Willis is in, and find a reason to enjoy it. Playing a character that is now in his 40's Willis comes across an old toy in front of his house that he recognizes as one that he owned as a kid. Thinking that his father put it on his front porch for some odd reason, he takes it in the house. Waking up in the middle of the night to a lot of noise he finds a small boy playing with the toy in his living room. As he finds out the little boy is himself from the past, and has some how managed to end up in the present day. Now he has to figure out why the kid is there and what he is going to do to get him back to the past where he belongs.
Trevor Breslin plays the kid, and I have to say that he had me cracking up through out the movie, I think it was just the way he acted through out it that had me going. Yeah the movie is considered to be somewhat sappy as it has the perfect happy ending, but I still find it to be one that I will watch if I happen to find it on TV, or if I haven't seen it in a while.
