This movie was huge when it came out! I remember hearing people talking about it for months before hand and weeks after its release. It was one of the early Christina Ricci movies and it helped push her career much farther than any of the other things she had done previously. Christopher Lloyd was magnificent as Uncle Fester! Raoul Julia & Anjelica Houston played the roles of Gomez and Morticia Addams to a point where they were quite reminiscent of the original TV show pair John Astin & Carolyn Jones. Carel Struycken was an amazing as Lurch.
I really enjoyed this film when it came out, and I still enjoy seeing it every now and again when its on TV. Its one that the entire family will enjoy. Adults will remember it from when they saw it when they were younger, or remember the original show, and kids will just get a kick out it in general.
