Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The ( buono, il brutto, il cattivo, Il )

Simple and yet so profound.

The Last of the trilogy in what are now called the Spaghetti Westerns (named so because they were produced by Italian film companies and their subject matter takes place completely in the USA). This is the final film in the "Man with no name" series. The film itself has a great story, and the musical score is probably one of the best known film themes from any Western movie.
The script is quite different from other westerns too: it's not just about revenge or save a city from bad guys, the story leans over deeper human feelings: greed, friendship, national pride. The characters are far more intricate than in other westerns I've seen, you never know what really motivates them and, which is to me the best: the Good guy isn't always good, the Bad guy isn't as bad as you could imagine, and the Ugly guy might be the most attaching gangster ever seen.
The film really changed the way that westerns are portrayed and it has helped set a new standard in character development for many films to come.
