Never before have my eyes hurt from such horrible cinematography while my ears and brain suffered a similar fate due to the movies overbearing pretentious self absorbed ramblings. Its so full of itself it reminds me of that smug episode of south park. When will people learn that using big words does not make you insightful? There's only one Kevin Smith and you are not him. I find it especially funny the amount of big words used either incorrectly or made up entirely. The only time any of the conversations in that movie would seem poignant is if you're sitting in a circle waiting for the bong to get to you. The movie calls itself 'groundbreaking' because it's done entirely with rotoscooping. ... Apparently by a 5 year old with a shaky hand. Roto isn't supposed to look like that and if it does then you've done it wrong. This movie revolves around ideas and thoughts that the writers apparently thought would make them seem smart to the rest of the world but is nothing you haven't contemplated yourself by the age of 12. it flickers on screen in an air or pretentiousness and stale pot because the writers would like to have people think that they are intellectuals when actually they sound like nothing more than privileged yuppie college kids with too much time on their hands and Daddy's money to spend. If they actually think any of the ideas presented here are new or groundbreaking they really need to grow up and learn about life. It's like someone telling you how the toaster works and you try to say 'But dude I know how the toas-" but they keep interrupting you so they can try and explain it using larger words than needed so they can try to feel smart even though you think they're a self righteous idiot. The movie itself doesn't even a have plot and in no terms should even be considered a movie. It's a college art film project that should have gotten an F.
