This is definitley a new spin on the zombie-apocalypse type movie. My one main gripe is the 'alternative ending'. I hate movies doing that now, like hey if you don't like the ending we made here's another one for you. If you are trying to show me a movie, tell me a story then have the confidence in the story to tell it to me the way you want to, not to cover all the bases and try to make everyone happy. The ending of a movie is basically the entire point of watching a movie, it's the conclusion and it my opinion the most important part. It's what everything else was building up for, and what you are unknowingly waiting for. I also liked that this movie wasn't just 'building up to the sequel to try and make a franchise' like all the other zombie movies coming out. This one showed a completely different side of it, it was less horror and more human. I also find it funny that we as a society has gotten so immune to the imminent threat of a zombie apocalypse we need to keep inventing new ways of telling the story.
