"Sucker Punch" is a fantasy, thriller, action movie about a young man who desires for her freedom after her abusive stepfather sent her to a mental institution. With her, is four other women, who get to realized this thing as she comes in to their situation.
I can't really explain how this movie works. The effects, the style are really excellent. And without a doubt, acting isn't good, or let us just say, it is bad. For me, it was a lame acting for Emily Browning, that I questioned why she got the lead role.
However, I appreciate how this particular motion picture brought us really something new, SOMETHING BIG-I would like to say. It was really, as if, an attempt to mix all movie genres. It is just that, the direction wasn't that clear. Story wise, it was predictable and at times, I got bored. I like the way it ended, but it did not really made conclusion to what it started.
The introduction seems like a music video. The body was a scripted video game. Only in the end that you will see the sense of it.
