"Production Value"

One night, six children went out to film a home movie. While camera rolling, a train exploded which marked the beginning of extraordinary and unexplained series of events. These children, including the deputy's son, Joe, then get into an experience they will never forget- an encounter to a inhuman creature.

This movie is great from the very first scene up to the encounter of the extraterrestrial creature. The cast are awesome, the plot is very interesting. The drama injected in it, I loved it! Explosions and some suspense add up to its "production value". But what I like the most about this movie is their musical score, I am not really paying attention on scoring but I did feel it while watching Super 8.
However, I think J.J. Abrams failed to checked everything because when it came to the last part, like ***SPOILER ALERT*** when the creature supposed to gather all the metals (I think), not all metals are actually have been extracted, just wondering.
Overall. A good one.
