Given a chance to prove their worth on aerial battle, a group of African- American pilots are about to prove themselves that even they struggle racial discrimination on land, they can and will fight on war.

This was a great surprise to me. I never expected that this movie could be this good and heartwarming. I even enjoy the aerial war. I can feel the characters, thus, I would say that the cast performed well. I also love the story, not a feel-good film but I felt the touching parts and the depth of the storyline.
One thing I hate about this film: OPENING CREDITS
