To some extent I could not understand why this movie was actually nominated for Academy Awards. I felt the film, in general, was plain and simple, without any big surprises in it. Yes, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper, with Robert de Niro and Jacki Weaver was a good cast to start with, but still it did not deliver a great punch on viewers which would make this film a great one. Also, the material was there, a deep story which worked as a comedy-drama, but I did not find a "soul" of the film, the core which would really give a nice kick to audience. That's all. Bye.
