Hanna review

With so many remakes and prequels in movies in recent years, it is a nice change when an original script comes along, even if the plot has a few holes. The scenery kept me intrigued as the main character, a teenaged girl, is chased by agents who want to kill her and her father. Hanna is very seasoned beyond her years as her father has trained her to protect herself from anyone, but being isolated with only her father as company has resulted in Hanna not having developed social skills. It is comical to watch her interact with a boy who wants to kiss her. It is also moving to watch her develop a friendship with another teenaged female. The story does not detail why Hanna and her father have chosen to come out of hiding, but when they do the race is on to kill the agents on their trail in order to survive.
