Happy Feet Two

It takes more than song and dance to capture an audience for 90 minutes. The imagery of bright colors of new sweaters from the aliens and marine life under the artic ice is impressive. There were many mini-plots throughout the film. The main plot line is the rescue of penguins trapped by a seperated ice shelf, and this cuts them off from the feeding grounds. All the old friends from the first Happy Feet are there, with Gloria voiced by Pink. There are new friends to be found around Emperor Land, with a ton of music scattered through the film, even when it is not needed. The only complaint I have about the film is the lack of cohesiveness linking the mini-plots together. The movie seemed to skip around with randomness. My kids liked the movie and thought it was worth the $1 rental fee.
