One Hell of a Movie

I'm sure to go to hell for watching this movie. Quentin Tarantino is my least favorite director, but I love movies and force my husband to watch over a hundred movies per year. He loves Tarantino, so I swallow my disgust and watch movies like Django Unchained and Kill Bill and all the rest of his collection. Maybe I'm warming up to the director because I didn't think it was that bad. It was funny, dark, bloody, and it had a good ending...when it finally did end. Django becomes unchained quite a few times, so it was hard for me to feel the ending until the final showdown. Christoph Waltz was more than perfect in this movie. I was having a hard time shedding my opinion of the actor after Water for Elephants, but after the second scene in Django, I was loving this character for his ability to talk calmly while leaving a trail of destruction around him. The entire cast and crew need to be congratulated for suspending real world beliefs and fully supporting Tarantino on his outlandish journey of getting this movie made.
