Not as good as the book, by far

Douglas and Moore have an intriguing cat-and-mouse chemistry and the film raises some interesting issues about sexism in the workplace. However, the final third act feels rushed and dives into a weird sci-fi-esque virtual reality hacking scene that completely derails the film from the legal tension it has worked so hard to establish. I know it's in the book, but, still...
