Diane Keaton Crying = Fail

Some well-written scenes between Nicholson (who slyly plays a grouchy old womanizer) and Keaton and these middle sequences, wherein the two grow close together, are the film's best. However, there are too many sappy scenes to make the film great. For one, Keaton is incredibly annoying when she "cries," (and the movie has no shortage of those scenes), and, for two, the film wraps up in Paris in what feels like a rushed and coincidental conclusion.
