A visual journey that deals with surprisingly adult themes for an animated film. The "villains" in the story are also surprisingly scary and I remember this film scaring me shitless as a child. Today, it isn't as scary, but still holds up as equal parts chilling and magical. Reminds me a little of a Miyazaki film.
