Kieslowski's Personal Epic

It's hard to rate a miniseries as a whole. There are parts of Kieslowski's moralistic epic that are too obvious and slow. Others, however, combine the right amount of subtlety and symbolism and are incredibly haunting. The individual episodes can work by themselves as tiny vignettes, but, when taken as a whole, the film is a grandiose examination of human nature (since a lot of the episodes feature subtle overlapping characters, symbols, and themes.) My personal recommendations for most touching episodes would be #1, #7, #9, and #10.
