There's a certain exuberance to this movie that makes parts of it enjoyable. It's sort of a Turkish Animal House (though a much tamer version), but I think a lot of the cultural humor went over my head and a lot of the jokes feel stale and forced. The musical finale was, oddly, pretty fun to watch, though. Turkish music is captivating.
