Using wit, symbolism, and some charismatic acting, "Shakespeare in Love" weaves a clever romantic tale around the rich world of Shakespearean England. The film is light-hearted and playful, taking cues from Shakespeare's more Puckish comedies and, all historical inaccuracy aside, is a lot of fun.
