Full disclosure: I actually worked on this movie as a production assistant, so I probably found a bit more enjoyment in the movie, since I knew all the behind-the-scenes stories. That said, it's a half-hearted effort by all involved and doesn't hit the broad campiness that it's shooting for (think Black Dynamite.)
