A Great Revisionist History Film

Tarantino's revisionist history is gloriously steeped in dark humor, entertaining action sequences, and a macabre and introspective look at an often captured period of history. Never has WWII been done like this. The ensemble cast shines, more so in their joint scenes than individually. Christoph Waltz's breakout role lives up to all the hype, as he fully embodies charm and evil in every lilting line and the explosive and fiery conclusion, though completely off the rails historically, is a delight, both cinematically and as pure entertainment value.
