A transformative experience

Well, it's certainly not for everyone. But while I was watching it I couldn't help but find myself utterly transfixed by the images on the screen. I fell into its rhythms, and couldn't take my eyes away from my TV. Never before have I fallen so deeply under the spell of a film. Afterwards I took a walk around my neighborhood, just quietly listening and watching everything - and then, after that, I took out my iPod and listened to some Arvo Part. It's one of the few films that's actually changed the way I look at the world.
