Ridley Scott has had poignant features (Alien), and then there were the mistakes (Hannibal). Robin Hood can clearly be filed under the mistakes. Whether one wants to be lenient and outline all the problems (multiple script writers, casting, reshoots for 3D, etc.) is up to the individual. As a movie it is flat, boring, and pulled in so many sub-plot directions that it's nothing short of being either entirely laughable or tantamount to water-torture. This of course depends on your sobriety level, which should be well above 0.08 if you brave this trash.
Best Line from Robin Hood (who may be mentally handicapped): Rise and rise again until lambs become lions. What does that mean?
