Razor Thin

A razor thin plot is drawn out through lush cinematography and an MTV soundtrack filled with Mash-Ups and mild trance. Is that okay? Some may fall prey to its style, though even that is questionable as Crockett and Tubbs sport two of the strangest hairlines in cinematic memory. I won't say more, but you'll need to see it or google-pic it to believe it.
Mann's set-up is fascinating enough and puts a veiled cover over Haitan, Cuban, and Aryan gangs battling over the Miami drug trade. From there it dissolves into paint-by-number territory where everything you thought would happen slowly dries over three hours.
