One of the best in the series (top 3 for me). This was classic Friday the 13th, nothing but the basics that made the series what it is today! It wasn't a remake but a complete movie by itself. The gore was there along with the inventive ways of killing young irresponsible adults. Overall this was a great movie and highly recommended.
