All Over the Guy

I swear, one of the actors looks so much like Ed Burns. I spent the first thirty minutes convinced that it was him. But then I IMDBed the guy and found some form of closure, which more than what I can say about this film. I don't know what it is about most gay movies but I've noticed that 98% of them disappoint me. They often fall for stereotypes. If they're going to do that, they might as well do it boldly and proudly like in "Eating Out." If they do want to avoid cliches, at least be smart about it like in "Get Real." This movie isn't that bad, don't get me wrong. It's just that half-way through the film, I got annoyed by all of the characters. The two leads are obviously not "meant for each other" and it was embarrassing to watch the actors and the filmmakers try to make seem like they are. This one is a bit shallow and dull for me.
