Capturing the Friedmans

I saw this movie right before I went to sleep and I couldn't stop thinking about it. This film expertly shows that sometimes truth is elusive no matter which angle you look at things. The family arguments are painful to watch and the way a community turned itself inside out was nothing less than provocative. I was shocked to have learned how the police asked leading questions to five to ten year old children. But then again, it's nothing new that the police abuse their power. Still, this movie is worth watching if you really want to see a dysfunctional family. If you enjoy voyeuristic shows like "The Real World," this movie is for you.
