A Modern Masterpiece

It's hard to pick which one is my favourite out of the three because each of them has something special to offer. As for this one, I did enjoy the giant spider scene because it was so creepy and the audience can easily feel the danger that Frodo is going through. The use of silence was perfectly molded, it gives me the chills just thinking about it. Everything is grander in this final part of the saga which made it all the more enjoyable. The battles kicked the excitement factor up a notch, the special effects are more eye-popping, and the movie provided the story a perfect form of closure. I'm glad to have given the trilogy a second chance because I initially thought the it was overrated, boring, and too long. Now I realize that the trilogy is the definition of a modern epic and it deserves to be recognized by future generations.
