Not Terrible

I haven't seen any of the preceding "Rambo" films but this one was not bad. The first thirty minutes was dull but it managed to deliver the blood and guts that moviegoers want. I was in a room full of guys when I saw this film and they seemed to have enjoyed it. I did, too, because it was nice to not have to think to much; to just sit back and enjoy the flying bullets and loud explosions. My main problem was the script: there were too many cheesy lines that made my eyes roll multiple times. I know it's supposed to be an action film but action films are capable of being eloquent such as "Die Hard" and "Speed." I've been told that Sylvester Stallone didn't do as many stunts as he did in the past but that is understandable because he's entered his sixties. Still, one can tell that he's fit and more than capable of passing as a once soldier of war. As a whole, the movie is decent and not as bad as critics made it out to be.
