A Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad Movie!

I don't even know where to begin because there were so many things that went wrong with this picture. It was supposed to be a horror film but it wasn't scary at all. In fact, one of my friends started laughing out loud in the cinema less than half-way through the movie and horror is not one of her favourite genres since she gets easily scared! Granted, my other two friends were scared out of their wits. But, really, I feel like the filmmakers and the actors didn't even try. The so-called "best part" of the film (the first scene) was done better in the animated parts "Kill Bill" due to their similar scenes. I know this is a remake but I'm not going to compare it to the original because I haven't seen it. Although I am interested because I heard that Jamie Lee Curtis is in it (I'm a big fan). Brittany Snow is boring as heck... Scratch that--all of the characters were boring. I found myself rooting for the killer in the end because the good guys' deaths would mean that there would be less tedious characters in the world of cinema. I think if this had been a rated R film, it could have been better. Instead, the picture is full of shallow high school drama which reminded me of "High School Musical" (and that's never a good thing). This was pure torture to go through. Speaking of torture, I'd rather watch a torture porn film than watch this again. Avoid it at all cost.
