Never send a woman to do a mans job.

A step down from his work with Tony Jaa but better than most fight movies nowadays. The plot, is as usual a write off, but since its not the reason I watch action movies it's better left undiscussed. Everything else was pretty much status quo till the awesome end scene which played out on the windowsills of a building and was brutal. I had my doubts with a woman in the lead and I'm still not completely sold on the result. She just didn't have the ferocity one expects in this role. The cuts were a bit fast which I can only guess was due to a lack of skill as Pinkaew has proven that he is near the top with his previous two outings, Ong-Bak and The Protector. It was also noticeable at times that the enemies were standing there waiting to be hit. It's still worth fast forwarding to the fight scenes, especially the last one if you have 30 minutes to waste.
