The Most overated film of the year

I did write a long and detailed review but it did not make it on, so I will summarize this time. The plot is poor and derivative notable taking the character Hal the computer. The main plot is poor and was added to some how give a story and lengthen the running time. The majority of the film are sight gags that are not very funny, and very chaplinesque. The art style is disappointing due to the repetitiveness and blandness of it even though the great technology is still obvious. I only laughed once and that was because I noticed that the captain was based on ten ton homer from an old episode of the simpsons. Finally I know it is liked because it is brilliant compared to films like space chimps but it still is nothing compared to the old Disney films.
Pros: Great looking in terms of tech.
Cons: A poor story, and several lame jokes. The artistic design is either boring or copies something else.
